Rechargeable Batteries
All of our WiFi cameras include rechargeable batteries in them and will generally last up to 6 months depending on the amount of traffic it receives. If you sit and watch the CCTV Cameras constantly they will also drain quicker. They are designed to be setup and left running capturing action / movement.
Local Storage VS Online Storage
The Tapo CCTV cameras allow for both local and online storage. Local storage is just fixed based on your Micro SD size, online storage incurs a monthly cost direct with Tapo...this is totally optional!
Site Survey
We do advise a site survey is carried out, a small charge may be applicable for this. Ideally, it is best to install the cameras in a premises with seamless Mesh WiFi. If you are unsure about this and would like seamless WiFi throughout your home or business do get in touch with us.
