A5 String Bunting

Make your celebration, event or business display more welcoming with professionally printed A5 string bunting from ABC Service. Suitable for weddings, parties, community events, shop displays and special occasions, this custom bunting gives you a simple way to add colour, branding or a coordinated decorative theme.

Choose between triangular or rectangular bunting flags, then select single- or double-sided printing to suit how your display will be viewed. Each metre contains six bunting pieces, and the minimum order is 3 metres. String is supplied with the bunting, but self-assembly is required.

Choose triangular or rectangular bunting

The shape you choose can change the look of your display:

• Triangular bunting creates the familiar festive and celebratory flag shape. Please allow approximately 148×210mm for the artwork area.
• Rectangular bunting gives you an A5-sized flag measuring 148×210mm, providing a clean, portrait layout for colours, graphics or a simple logo.

Both options can be arranged along the supplied string to create a colourful display across a room, entrance, shopfront or event space.

How much string bunting do you need?

Each metre contains six triangular or rectangular bunting pieces, with a minimum order of 3 metres. To estimate the quantity you need, measure the area where the bunting will be displayed and allow some extra length for spacing, fixing and the shape of the display.

• 3 metres provides 18 printed bunting pieces
• 5 metres provides 30 printed bunting pieces
• 10 metres provides 60 printed bunting pieces

These examples are based on six pieces per metre. You can order the number of metres that best suits your display, subject to the product options and minimum order requirement.

Personalise the design

You can supply colours for us to print, including the order in which you would like them to appear. You can also provide colours and a logo without a background for a more bespoke branded bunting design.

For the clearest result, keep the design bold and easy to recognise. Strong colour blocks, simple patterns and clear logos generally work better than small detailed text, especially when the bunting is viewed from across a room.

Artwork preparation

Artwork must include 3mm bleed. Extend background colours and images beyond the final cut line so that the edges of the flags remain covered after trimming.

• Allow approximately 148×210mm for triangular bunting artwork
• Use 148×210mm for rectangular A5 bunting artwork
• Add 3mm bleed to all edges
• Keep important logos and design details safely inside the trim area
• Check whether you require single- or double-sided printing
• Proofread any supplied logo or wording before submitting the file
• Make sure the design works when repeated across the full length of bunting

Silk or waterproof media

A5 string bunting is available on either 350gsm Silk or Waterproof 260gsm (195 micron) media.

• 350gsm Silk provides a smooth card surface for colourful indoor displays and event decoration.
• Waterproof 260gsm has a 195 micron thickness and is a practical option where the display may be exposed to moisture, subject to the intended use and supplier guidance.

String is supplied – assembly is required

The printed flags include pre-drilled holes in the top corners, and string is supplied with the order. You will need to assemble the bunting by threading the string through the holes and arranging the pieces along the length required.

It is worth allowing time to assemble and position the bunting before your event. You can adjust the spacing as you work, helping the finished display fit the room, wall, fence or entrance where it will be used.
