When preparing your file:
- Set the artwork size to 302×154mm including 3mm bleed
- Allow for the flat 296×148mm sheet and centre score
- Plan the front, back and two inside panels before exporting
- Keep names, ages, dates and important details inside the safe area
- Keep fine artwork away from the centre score
- Extend full-bleed colours and images into the bleed area
- Check the orientation of every panel
- Proofread each personalised variation before uploading
Square artwork often looks strongest when it has one clear focal point. A cake, balloon group, photograph or central illustration can anchor the cover, while the inside panels carry the message and signing space.
Ordering multiple square designs
The ordering system cannot detect multi-page documents automatically. If your file contains two or more pages or designs, select the correct quantity for the number of finished cards required.
Where the live options allow it, several designs can be submitted within one order quantity. This is useful for birthday collections, seasonal ranges, independent retailers, makers and resellers who want a consistent square format with different artwork.
Label files clearly and check how the order quantity should be divided before uploading. A multi-page PDF does not automatically tell the ordering system how many copies of each design are required.
